The Clean Water Atlanta Program

MHR International provided services on the $3.9 billion City of Atlanta Water Project. The project was part of the comprehensive Clean Water Atlanta initiative unveiled in October 2002. The long term plan produced cleaner drinking water and streams, and clean wastewater flows for Atlanta and downstream neighbors. The project is expected to yield, within the decade, some of the cleanest urban streams and rivers in the country.

As part of a design and construction management team headed by Metcalf & Eddy and Cordozo Engineering, MHR International is providing project control services including:

> scheduling
> coordination
> document processing
> monitoring
> status reporting
> office engineering
> field inspections

MHR International personnel review, approve, and monitor project schedules and RFI submittals from contractors completing sewer work for the project, and also ensure compliance with municipal codes and regulations.

Atlanta's drinking water and wastewater systems are regional systems that serve 1.2 million customers daily over a 650-square-mile area.
